Each book picked up is a new experience. I’m encouraged and starting to think that running is a very natural process, something that we are born with, and someone that we should take with an air of fun and relaxation. Putting one foot in front of the other and going with the wind. It shouldn’t be all about hard hard work, shaving off minutes and all the competition. I want to do it just because I like it and it gives me purpose. Of course the speed thing comes along soon, but the primary motivation should always be about the motion itself.
I want to run everywhere I go. I want running to bring me everywhere I want to go. I want running to be in my life. I want to run to school, run home. How do I get about making this come true without having to be encumbered too much by a heavy school bag? I like running when I’m in the air and my heart feels free and easy.
Marathons actually do seem easy if running becomes a lifestyle. In fact, it could be quite possible to make 26.2miles a sort of daily habit. Life is so full.
