20131221 Christmas Party at Home :)

20131221 Christmas Party at Home

20131221 Christmas party at Home Art

I’m starting to become very cosy with the idea of having home gatherings or parties. They make you feel warm, because you purposefully invite people whom you would like to prepare the special event for. And you work hard to make the event good. And when the event is here, you soak in the atmosphere. And when it ends, and you pack up, clean up, you keep rewinding the moments.

Having parties exemplify the idea of how the journey is so important, as important as the destination. Because I enjoy the stress and rush and striving for perfection for the guests’ comfort, as much as when the moment our dear guests step in.

Thank you Yiyi and family for coming, for spending the time with us :)

20032011 Cookweek 2.

And I am back! Haha, remember the first cookweek was the week before exams, and now it’s the week after exams.

Day One, Sunday, 20032011, the day after my first burger attempt. Baked cheese spaghetti, fish burger, omelette spaghetti sauce burger.

Day 2, ingredients from Giant after ECP cycling. Cheddar cheese, and an open burrito haha.

First attempt of fried bee hoon. Not too bad. But a little bit dry. Saturday 26/3, before hospital life.

19032011 My First Burger!

Awesome yeah. In the morning, got hit by inspiration and wanted to get an electric grill a la Man vs Food. Then remembered the special steamed burger in one of the episodes, so tried it out since can save money no need to buy new equipment. Voila! Fast food will never be the same again.

07,08122010 Christmas Baking.

By far the easiest and hence the most successful. So easy NOT to screw up hahaha. And the taste of cake is so great.

Of all things we had to forget to bring the recipe along to Kangkar and Phoon Huat. But oh wells, the fun that we had more than made up for it.

Another easy recipe from sortedfood. Thanks to Charlie and Alex, got to know of this cool website.

Haha. HAHA.

Haha the fun part. Finishing the frozen fries :D And the Cookies and Cream bananasplit, arguably the winner in the aesthetic department of the day.
